Mend.able : Community Practice & Collective Repair
Healing isn’t just personal. It’s communal.
The Outer Path is where we gather, to hold one another, to build something better together, to turn our cracks into gold through action.
Whether you’re showing up to be seen, to mend, or to heal beside others,
this is where we begin to repair what’s been broken. Our shared spaces are MEND-able and our community is MEND-able.
Whats it all about?
Practical friendship with purpose – because healing together works better than healing alone.
Real connection – Small groups who show up as themselves, not their “everything’s fine” selves
Meaningful action – We don’t just talk, we do: mending projects, community support, learning practical skills together
Shared wisdom – Learn from others, traditional crafts, and life skills from each other in a supportive group
Mutual support – Get help when you need it, give help when you can – from moving house to emotional crisis support

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any special skills to join a Mendable project?
Not at all. If you have hands, a heart, and the willingness to show up, you’re welcome. Some people bring tools, some bring tea, some bring stories. Every thread matters.
What kind of projects do you actually work on?
We fix what needs fixing. That could be repainting a neglected school fence or building a raised bed for elders in a community garden. Each project is chosen with intention, where the mending is needed most.
Is this a spiritual or religious group?
We work with compassion, not rules. Drawing on ancestral traditions and practices to support the healing process. People from all walks of life and beliefs are welcome, as long as they come with respect and openness.
What will I get out of it, personally?
You’ll leave with more than you came with. Even if your hands are covered in paint. Mendable offers a sense of belonging, purpose, and connection to community. You’ll meet others who care. You’ll do something real. And in mending what’s outside, many find that something inside begins to heal too.
