  • The Winter Gathering

    The Winter Gathering

A day to slow down, reflect and gather around the fire.

Winter invites us to do something that modern life rarely allows.

    To pause.

As the days grow shorter and the world becomes quieter, nature reminds us that there is wisdom in slowing down.

The Winter Gathering is an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend a day reconnecting with yourself, with others and with the gentle rhythm of the season.

    There are no expectations.

    No pressure to perform.

No need to be anything other than yourself.

Just warmth, community and space to breathe.

    What to expect

We’ll spend the day immersed in the peaceful surroundings of the Dorset countryside, sharing moments of stillness, conversation and connection.

    Together we’ll experience:

    • A welcoming fire and seasonal drinks.
    • Opening circle and shared intentions.
    • Gentle movement and mindful grounding.
    • Ceremonial cacao.
    • Live acoustic music and traditional inspired medicine songs.
    • A deeply restorative sound journey.
    • Woodland walks and quiet time in nature.
    • Seasonal reflection and journalling.
    • A shared homemade lunch.
    • Fireside conversations.
    • Closing gratitude circle.

Everything is offered as an invitation.

You are always free to participate in the way that feels right for you.

    Why winter?

Winter isn’t a season to endure.

    It’s a season to restore.

    In nature, nothing is rushing.

Trees release what they no longer need.

The earth rests before new growth begins.

We rarely allow ourselves the same permission.

The Winter Gathering offers a chance to slow your pace, reflect on the year that’s been and gently prepare for the one ahead.

    Who is this for?

This gathering is for anyone longing to reconnect.

You don’t need any previous experience with retreats, meditation or ceremony.

You don’t need to identify as spiritual.

Whether you come on your own or with friends, you’ll be welcomed into a warm and supportive community where there’s no pressure to fit in or have all the answers.

    What you’ll leave with

    You may leave feeling rested.

You may leave with new friendships.

You may leave with greater clarity about the months ahead.

Or perhaps you’ll simply leave remembering what it feels like to spend a day without rushing.

    Sometimes that’s enough.

A different way to spend winter

While much of the world speeds towards the end of the year, we choose to slow down.

    To gather around the fire.

    To share good food.

    To make music.

    To listen.

    To reflect.

To remember that we were never meant to walk through the darker seasons alone.

  • Becoming Whole

    Becoming Whole

A weekend to step away from your business, so you can return as a better leader.

We spend so much of life becoming who the world expects us to be.

We learn to stay busy, achieve more, care for others, solve problems and keep moving forward.

Somewhere along the way, many of us lose touch with ourselves.

    Not because we’re broken.

    But because life becomes noisy.

Becoming Whole is an invitation to step away from that noise.

Set amongst the peace and beauty of the Dorset countryside, this intimate retreat offers space to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with the parts of yourself that everyday life often leaves behind.

There is nothing to achieve here.

No version of yourself to become.

Only the opportunity to remember who you’ve always been.

    Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is for anyone longing to pause.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or simply aware that life has become all about doing and very little about being.

You don’t need any previous experience with meditation, ceremony or retreats.

You don’t need to consider yourself spiritual.

You simply need a willingness to show up exactly as you are.

    Throughout the weekend you’ll experience

    • Ceremonial cacao.
    • Guided meditation.
    • Gentle movement.
    • Breath and mindfulness practices.
    • Live acoustic music.
    • Sound journeys.
    • Time in nature.
    • Woodland walks.
    • Fire circle gatherings.
    • Meaningful conversation.
    • Quiet reflection.
    • Journalling.
    • Nourishing food.
    • Plenty of rest.

Every part of the retreat is an invitation.

    Nothing is forced.

You are always free to participate in the way that feels right for you.

    Our intention

    This isn’t about fixing you.

It isn’t about pushing through emotional barriers.

And it certainly isn’t about pretending everything is perfect.

It’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where you can reconnect with your heart, your body, your breath and the people around you.

A place where you can feel held by nature, by community and by the simple rhythm of slowing down.

    Sometimes that’s all we need.

    What makes this retreat different?

    Many retreats promise transformation.

    We don’t.

Transformation often happens naturally when we stop trying so hard to change ourselves.

Instead, we focus on creating the conditions where insight, rest, connection and growth can emerge in their own time.

Our role is simply to hold the space.

    The rest is yours.

    What you’ll leave with

You won’t leave with all the answers.

But many people leave with something even more valuable.

    A quieter mind.

    A softer heart.

    A deeper sense of belonging.

    Greater clarity.

    Renewed energy.

And the reminder that beneath all of life’s demands, you are already enough.

    The experience

To protect the intimacy of the retreat, places are intentionally limited.

This allows everyone to be seen, heard and supported while still leaving plenty of room for solitude and personal reflection.

Whether you spend the weekend in conversation around the fire, walking quietly through the woods or resting beneath the trees, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.

    Welcome home.

    This is Becoming Whole.

    A retreat by The Unbrokening.

Because wholeness isn’t something we create.

    It’s something we remember.

  • The Founders Retreat

    The Founders Retreat

A weekend to step away from your business, so you can return as a better leader.

Founders spend so much time building companies that they rarely get the opportunity to build themselves.

The pressure to perform, solve problems, support your team, make difficult decisions and carry the responsibility can slowly disconnect you from the very reason you started in the first place.

This retreat creates the space to pause.

Not to escape your business, but to reconnect with the person leading it.

Over two immersive days in the Dorset countryside, you’ll step away from constant notifications, meetings and expectations, replacing them with meaningful conversation, time in nature, reflection, movement, good food and practical thinking.

You’ll leave with more than inspiration.

    You’ll leave with clarity.

    Who is it for?

This retreat is designed for founders, business owners and senior leaders who are carrying a lot.

    You may be growing quickly.

    You may feel stuck.

You may be successful on paper but exhausted underneath.

Or perhaps you’ve simply realised that looking after yourself has fallen to the bottom of the list.

Whatever has brought you here, you’ll be surrounded by people who understand the weight of leadership.

    No networking.

    No pitching.

    No pretending.

Just honest conversations with people walking a similar path.

    What we’ll explore

Throughout the weekend we’ll combine practical leadership with personal wellbeing.

    Topics include:

    • Leading without burning out.
    • Building a business that supports your life, not consumes it.
    • Decision making with clarity rather than urgency.
    • Finding purpose beyond profit.
    • Emotional resilience.
    • Nature based reflection.
    • Creating healthy habits that last.
    • Relationships, family and balance.
    • Vision, values and legacy.

Everything is designed to help you become a calmer, stronger and more intentional leader.

    What to expect

Over the course of the weekend you’ll experience:

    • Guided workshops.
    • Small group discussions.
    • Fireside conversations.
    • Time in nature.
    • Ceremonial cacao.
    • Meditation and mindfulness.
    • Live acoustic music.
    • Sound journey.
    • Quiet personal reflection.
    • Nourishing food.
    • Space to simply breathe.

    There are no lectures.

    No motivational speeches.

    No forced vulnerability.

You’re invited to participate in whatever feels right for you.

    Why this retreat is different

Most founder retreats focus on scaling businesses.

This one focuses on sustaining the human being behind the business.

Because better leaders create better companies.

    Better companies create better communities.

And better communities create a better future.

    Your investment

This is an intentionally small retreat.

Places are limited to ensure meaningful conversations, genuine connection and individual attention.

If you’re looking for another conference, this isn’t it.

If you’re looking for a weekend that may quietly change how you lead, live and think, we’d love to welcome you.

This evening is an invitation to pause.

Together we’ll gather in the peaceful surroundings for a gentle, heart opening cacao ceremony, accompanied by live medicine music, a deeply relaxing sound journey and space to reconnect with yourself, nature and a welcoming community.
